Wednesday Wink - Turn The Glamour Up with Flat Lashes

Flat Lashes

As I write to you, L.A. is having a heatwave - the rose water face mist is by my side! In the midst of all this heat, I have had an eyelash life-changing event. Quite possibly, I am very late to the party. But, the big news is... I have fallen madly in love with flat eyelashes, otherwise known as the ellipse lash! As an eyelash extension consumer, and as a lash artist, I've been giving flat eyelashes a go for the last few weeks. And, I'm impressed. The ellipse eyelash design is truly a landmark innovation in the evolution of our artistry, so far! When I'm not making volume fans, it’s possible I am forever converted to flat lashes, and here’s why:

Client Satisfaction

Proven L.A. heatwave, swimming, and summer lovin' durability! My clients are happier than ever, wearing their lashes through all of life's demands that put good lashes to the test. The flat lashes seem to be adding an extra week (plus) to eyelash retention. I love seeing my clients as regularly as possible, but I'm happy they're getting a longer lasting service too! Because of the elliptical shape, a superior bond is made between the extension and the natural eyelash. The flat lashes are lighter in weight, and require less glue.

Fullness Perception

Less lashes are needed to give the ‘liner’ effect. Create a thicker look with less weight? Halleluja! You can't tell so much when looking at them in the tray, but when you see them on your client's eyes there is no denying that flat lashes turn the glamour up by creating an extra black look - without being too over the top! I did have one client that was a little overwhelmed by the change, at first, but by the next day she was texting me to say she’d fallen in love too! Have you gone flat? If so, are you still using other classic lashes? Or are you converted? I would be so happy to hear what you think in the comments below! Blessings and love till next wink xo
