Pre Booking Your Lash Clients

Nothing has been more exciting and rewarding than opening my schedule on Mondays and seeing my schedule 80% or more booked. This has been the most important step in growing my lash business. I learned a few tips and tricks over the years I have been in the beauty business. One of the most important tips was rebooking as many clients as possible. This was a little tricky for me when I first tried to implement my rebooking strategy. Lucky for me, I had a great coach and mentor who walked me through the steps. The first and most important was to value my skill. Knowing you have done your very best to make your client happy is such a pleasure. The confidence you gain from having a client say yes to rebooking their next appointment is huge. One yes from a client shows you what can happen when you dare to ask.

Ask to Rebook, Every Time

Most of us start our careers wondering if the client was comfortable, did they enjoy the service, and will they actually come back. Let me give you a little bit of advice, ask every single time. You may have many clients hesitant to commit to a pre-booked appointment, don’t let that stop you from asking. I got my start at pre-booking around October. I suggested to my non pre-bookers to at least get their appointments on the books through the holiday season. I let my clients know that this time of year would be difficult to accommodate last minute appointments and that I couldn’t guarantee a service without booking.

Sell the Benefits

Be sure you explain the benefits to your clients. After we made our way through the holidays, many of my clients realized that a pre-booked appointment was a commitment they were ready to take on. They realized that it was less stressful, and not to mention the scheduled lash naps! After a period of time, if you ask your client to pre-book every time, you too will see your schedule fill up with a solid clientele. Asking clients to pre-book demonstrates that you are organized and professional, and your clients will view you this way. Of course you will always want to leave room for those who have hectic schedules and cannot make an appointment without having to cancel last minute. There are those clients unfortunately, we love them and want them to receive the same great service as the others. For more detail on pre-booking, check out my posts on coaching and mentoring. Let us know how your pre-booking is going.
