Marketing From The Heart - Charitable Leads

There are amazing organizations in every town who are often on the look out for partners to help them with fundraisers. Some of these fundraisers include silent auctions. This is how I built my booming business and referral system: I found an organization that resonated with my heart, and asked if I could donate a gift certificate to their silent auction. Perhaps your current clients could give you leads, they may be connected with organizations who are searching for charitable donations right now! Also, be a guest at fundraisers, and if you aren’t able to invest your money, offer yourself to be of service to your community in some way. A powerful purpose affirmation:

Mind On Your Money

Continue to notice your comments in group forum conversations, specifically regarding clients wanting deals. Isn’t it interesting that sometimes people respect the price points of designer brands, yet ask for deals on quality services from small businesses!? Become a master money manifester by being the change you wish to see! For example: if you receive tips at your job, be a good tipper. Tune your mind away from seeking discounts when spending. Most importantly, know your worth - for instance, if someone says to me “wow, your prices are high”, my response is to send them the number of someone else, you’d be surprised how many people then schedule with me instead.

What agreements about money are you broadcasting? My business coach once asked me “do you think trading services tells the universe you don't like money?” perhaps she was right. Now, my practice is to take pleasure in exchanging money - like a faucet turned on, available to flow abundant wealth into the lives of others, as well.

Radical Hospitality

No matter what your job is, we are all the midwives of a new way of being. I use the word ‘Radical’ in the header because this is the magnitude of love, kindness & right action toward yourself & other people that gives you superpowers! Martin Luther King Jr referred to this superpower as ‘cosmic companionship.' The universe is a loving co-creating partner in personal & social change. We must go deeper within our interpersonal relationships, every interaction is an assignment. You don't need 100K followers on Instagram to have a positive impact on the world. Start with a revolution of love in your own heart. Can we make a pact to stop gossiping & referring to people as toxic? Don't be a sponge for bad vibes, or the victim of bad boundaries. Sometimes the answer is indeed removing yourself from contact. Most of the time though, before jumping ship, we are being given the opportunity to cultivate a miracle. So what is the definition of a miracle? To me, the definition is: a shift in perception (from fear to love). Invite a shift of perception anytime you are perceiving conflict. Maybe go so far as to celebrate the times of friction as growth opportunities. For instance- see someone as ‘having a hard time’, versus ‘giving you a hard time’. Does that feel different?

Strength Through Kindness

Long ago, I had a client who would yell at me and threw a tantrum almost every appointment, often bringing me to tears. The day I’d planned on quitting, I asked myself how to break the pattern. Then, it occurred to me, she must be super sad if she could be such a bully. That day her behavior changed for the remainder of our time together without any prompting. You see, I didn't have ‘do’ anything, or have a confronting conversation, or lose my job. Years later once I was earning a better living, I did transition that client to another artist. My main takeaway? 1. Kindness is strength, be gentle with yourself and others. 2. Edit yourself & your life ruthlessly and endlessly, it is your masterpiece after all.

The implication is clear, because we are all part of the whole, when we heal something within ourselves- we heal it for the world… Much like the rising of the sea level lifts all ships, so the radiance of unconditional love within a human heart lifts all of life. - 'Letting Go: The Path to Surrender'
