#gladlash #beeyebeautiful #loveyourlashes #lashlover #eyelashextensions These number signs and words mean more than you know! Here's a guide to using hashtags. They can be so very useful to you especially on Instagram if you are a business. Using a searchable term (a hashtag) with your content on Instagram is vital to a brand. This allows your posts to be categorized for your audience. Users can search relevant hashtags or terms to find people or businesses that are of interest. Then you have the choice to seek, follow or interact, allowing anyone to join the conversation. Try it! Go to Instagram and type in one of the hashtags mentioned above, or another one you want to try, and see what happens. You can discover trending topics and create a larger audience which hopefully will translate into business. You can include up to 30 hashtags on a regular post and up to 10 hashtags on an Instagram Story.

Tips for Selecting Hashtags

  1. Use only relevant hashtags #lashes for example.
  2. Use the correct amount of hashtags (in general using 9 hashtags seems to be the sweet spot right now) but you can add up to30
  3. Use specific hashtags #gladlash for example
  4. Save hashtags for future use
  5. Leave your hashtags in the first comment under your post and don't leave it under your caption for post.
Remember, these hashtags and tips will make your post easier to find. easier to promote engagement with your audience and easier to discover industry trends that will help you enhance your posts and their discoverability. This is the basic knowledge that you need to know for this platform. There are many more layers on how to use Instagram and all that it offers. No matter how big or small of a business you have, these elements can really make a difference in your social media strategy and overall bottom line. The algorithm is constantly changing, so stay in the know with resources like this site, and always make sure that your version of the app is up to date. #instagoodadvice
