We all wish we could slay all day at taking care of our skin, right?!? Well, I want to introduce you all to a trend that you may or may not be aware of right now. Join me as we look into the power of crystal facial tools, jade boards and rose quartz to give your the skin your in a boost! Crystals are used for healing and in energy work. This philosophy has also transitioned into crystallized beauty, an obvious next step for the crystal. Using them in skincare helps the physiological which can affect the skin and then on the energetic side which affects your body shifts. These tools/rollers are predominantly used to help with product integration, inflammation, lifting, sculpting and smoothing of lines. Skin nirvana!

Rollers

Jade and rose quartz are examples of what these rollers can be made from. Rollers are used to stimulate your lymphatic system which acts as a detoxification system. Using this method helps our body get rid of toxins. Rose quartz is a calming stone that helps the heart chakra and stays cool to the touch, while jade also helps the heart chakra, but has more friction on skin and heats up faster. Rollers need to be used in a sweeping motion working from the center of your face outward. For the best effect, apply your favorite moisturizer or serum first. And try to keep your wand in the fridge for added de-puffing purposes!

Gua sha

Interestingly enough, there are also flatter tools that have been used in Chinese medicine to message the face called Gua sha. When used by a professional in the correct way, this can give the effect of an instant face lift. The way or angle at which the Gua sha tool is used on your face will determine how deep it can go to release tension. The Gua sha should be done with a break in between applications because it's a bit more intense compared to the other stimulations. I don't know about you, but I feel enlightened! These tools can certainly be as effective as anything else in your skincare routine and can add a little spiritual help as well. Love the intention! What are your thoughts on this?
