1. Upside-Down Wedding Cakes
Let's start with dessert, shall we?! Everyone loves a great masterpiece of a cake as a showpiece at a wedding reception. From the design, the colors, the flavors to the tablescape it rests on, cakes can be all the rave.
But now, my friends, cakes can hang upside down or right side up and have a serious moment in the spotlight this time around. When I saw this, I seriously thought it was GENIUS – it is something new and just way different.
You can also do a cupcake table and set them up delicately hanging from a tree or a centerpiece. Couples are always on the lookout to do unique things like this. These will totally set your event apart.
2. Say YES to the Dip-Dyed Dress!
Now let's talk wedding dresses! There are several trends that are in the mix but I have to highlight one because it's so crazy fabulous to me. You dip-dye your wedding dress by dipping the bottom of your dress in different colors. You can give it a customized touch like no other to add a super psychedelic feel.
This type of process is probably for the more adventuresome type of bride – and still – it is a fun spin on a traditional wedding gown that I can appreciate. It may not be your speed but it's new and different, which isn't always the easiest thing to do in this industry.
3. Glam Bar For Your Royal Guests
Lastly, there is the Glam Bar! This is absolutely genius to me and I wish I would have come up with the idea myself! The idea is to have a touch-up or glam station at your reception for your guests! YES people, OMG...WHAT!!
This involves hiring a team or just a couple of artists to come in and organize a pop-up station – possibly in a very nice bathroom or a room by the reception area or even as a part of the reception, too! The way to customize this is really up to the couple. How cool would this be?! Everyone gets a taste of your Glam Squad and feels like a million bucks all night long! Mind BLOWN!? You're welcome. :)
