In this day and age I think we all strive to be as conscious about the foods that we put in our bodies as we do about the beauty products we use on a daily basis. I wanted to introduce some brands that are cruelty free, budget-friendly, and easy to find. What does 'cruelty free' actually mean? In the animal rights movement, cruelty-free is a label for products or activities that do not harm or kill animals anywhere in the world.

Cruelty Free Brands

e.l.f., whose acronym stands for eyes lip face, is an all vegan makeup line that can be found at Target, Walmart, and Ulta. They have a wide variety of products to choose from and are very affordable. Physicians Formula, which I see all the time at my neighborhood CVS, is cruelty free and their mission is simple; vote with your money and send a message that animal testing is not acceptable. Technology is a better alternative to testing! Milani is also a cruelty free brand that you can find in almost every drugstore. Tom's of Maine has toothpaste, mouthwash and deodorant that are all cruelty free. We used this toothpaste for years when my son was younger. Great choice! And finally GladGirl's makeup line is cruelty free as well! GladGirl believe's in providing eco-friendly sustainability with cruelty free and vegan products. These are just a few brands that cater to environmentally friendly consumers. It's nice to know that these companies take being cruelty free seriously and have a soft spot for animals. It's a movement that more and more brands are beginning to take notice of and follow. What other brands do you know of that are cruelty free and not on this list?
