To know me as a person & as a makeup artist, is to know that I absolutely LOVE mascara!! I buy all kinds, try them all, layer them, switch them up to see which combination gives the most dazzling and voluminous effect. But, when it comes to extensions....the mascara issue becomes a bit tricky. In this instance, you cannot use regular or waterproof mascaras. Since the objective with extensions is to give the illusion that your lashes are real, voluminous and that they already have mascara on them.
Sooooo, in walks the best alternative for lash extension wearers out there, it's Max2 "Volume Up" Mascara. This mascara is perfect for that added touch!I worked on a bride a few weeks ago with beautiful extensions by none other than the Director of Glad Lash Inc. herself, Esther. She gave the bride this special water-based mascara with herbal extracts specifically formulated for extensions. I of course am always up for attaining any new "Mascara News" so we tried it and it looked amazing!!
To ensure a gentler application, I applied the mascara with a fan brush instead of a mascara wand. For special occasions or for the mascara and lash obsessed, thank God for this product- you can get the best of both worlds. This product is something to look into and try. I was thrilled that I had the chance to use it and see the effects first-hand. Note, always make sure the mascara is not goopy or dried out....this means that it's time to replace the mascara.
